Emese Sáfrány: aerial competition and coaching
Her competition record includes European gold and two world-championship silver medals on different apparatus.
European gold in Professional B
Contemporary coverage in October 2017 reported Sáfrány’s first place in the Professional B category at the European aerial championship. Her own announcement identified the category when celebrating the result.
The same report mentioned an amateur-category result achieved by one of her competitors. That was a separate achievement by someone she taught, alongside her own competitive work.
Two silver medals in Prague
After the 2018 world championship in Prague, she reported second place in Aerial Cube Professional B and silver in Aerial Hoop Professional B. Her statement was reproduced by 24.hu in December 2018.
Both results belong to the same championship, but to different apparatus. The cube and hoop categories should remain separate when describing those medals.
Organising and preparing competitors
In her Pilates interview, Sáfrány dated the beginning of the Aleskaaerial Hoop competition to 2017. She described it as an event where both amateur and professional competitors could participate.
She also described preparing competitors for domestic and international events, choreographing performances and accepting invitations to judge. These activities extended her work beyond her own routines.
